Poster draft

I asked some people what they thought about my poster so I could get some feedback on some of the best features and the parts that I need to change the most so that I can make the poster look even better when I have finished.

I used the subliminal message 'DIE' in my poster because I thought it would be a good example of anchorage, I also thought that it would make the audience think what the letters mean. I chose the eye to be the focal point so I used Photoshop to make the eye stand out, I created a new layer and coloured over the eye in red but with an opacity of 40% so that you could still see the detail underneath ad then used a very fine pen tool to make the eyes look as if they are bloodshot because I wanted him to look like the victim and I felt that the blood shot eyes made the character look distressed. I used red for some of the font because I wanted to use some anchorage so that it is a focal point for the audience.
