Magazine

I decided to make this my final magazine cover because I think that it follows the conventions of a film magazine such as having a puff, a large masthead and buzz words. I started off by making a poll asking people which name for the magazine they thought was best and the font for it. I also put the three fonts onto different main images so that the audience could see what it would look like as a magazine and give them a better idea so they could decide which ones they liked best.

After I received the results for the most popular masthead, font and name I chose a suitable image that I had taken whilst filming our trailer because I didn't want to waste time and have to take another photo after. I then started to make the magazine look more conventional by adding the aspects that a magazine uses such as a bar code and issue number. 

I spent a lot of time editing the main image because I felt that the character looked too evil but I wanted him to look like the victim because in our trailer the character is innocent and weak, to make him look more innocent I left the eyes as normal and added more blood on the bandages to show that he is injured. I moved the image to the right more because I wanted more space on the left side so that it follows the left hand rule.
